- Wake up early with alacrity to fulfill the mitzva of Lulav. (MB )
- In the morning after Chazoras Hashatz we take the lulav and bless “…al netillas lulav”(, then bless Shehecheyanu for the first time), shake it, and then bless “…likros haHallel”. Complete the Hallel on all eight days of the Chag (nine in Chutz La’aretz) since each day is considered a separate festival. (ShA – MB , )
- Do not interrupt in the middle of Hallel. There are times that you may interrupt – follow the rules of interruptions in Krias Shema. The Chayay Odom says that if a lulav is delivered to you in the middle of Hallel, you are allowed to interrupt between the chapters. (ShA – MB ) # # # # # #
