- If you begin a beracha with the Shem and “melech ha’olam” thinking that the beracha should be this, and before the end you realize the beracha should be something else and you change it to end correctly, you are yotzay b’dieved. (ShA )
- If you said the wrong ending but then said the correct one toch k’day dibbur, it’s okay. If you corrected yourself only after k’day dibbur, repeat the correct beracha from the beginning. (ShA – MB )
- During Havdalla – after Hagoffen you mistakenly said Boray Meoray Hoaysh – then you remember and change it immediately to Boray Minay V’somim. Which one have you said?
- If you held the spices, your intention was for the spices and you fulfilled B’somim.
- If you had intention on the flame, Hoaysh was fulfilled. Say another beracha on the spices even though it is out of order. (MB )
- If ever you have a doubt whether or not to bless for food, and that beracha is d’rabbonon – don’t. If the beracha is d’oraisa (you ate your fill of bread) – do. There is an argument among the poskim if the beracha achrona after eating your fill of the 7 species is d’rabbonon or d’oraisa. So when in doubt, eat a k’zayis more of what you were eating – now you certainly are obligated to say the after-beracha. (ShA – MB , )
