- Even though stones are muktza, Chazal allowed the use of them to wipe after using the bathroom. This is because of kavod habrios. (ShA 1)
- Kavod habrios also allows using a stone with moss growing on it, even though lifting the stone off the ground looks like detaching a plant and is normally ossur d’rabbonon. The wiping action might also scrape off some moss, but it is a dovar sh’ayno miskavin and not inevitable. (ShA 3 – MB 12, 13)
- A person may use living grasses to wipe with – just don’t detach them. Growing grass is neither muktza nor included in the gezaira of using attached plants. The latter gezaira applies only to trees. (ShA 6 – MB 17, 19)
- An object that has been swallowed into the body (e.g. pearls, gold nuggets) is bottel and allowed to be “carried” into reshus horabim. But if it is put into the body and taken out, it is not bottel and will be considered carrying.

- It is forbidden to fill a hole in the ground or to level a bump in the ground on Shabbos. In a field it falls under the melacha of plowing. In a building (earth floor) or a courtyard it’s under the melacha of building. (MB 11, 24)
