- Next, the tzibbor and the chazzan daaven quietly the nine berachos of Musaf. (ShA )
- The minhag Ashkenaz is to say the pesukim of the Korban Musaf Rosh Hashana but not the pesukim of Korban Musaf Rosh Chodesh. We merely hint to the Korban Musaf Rosh Chodesh in a number of places in the Musaf Shemoneh Esray. (Rama )
- Say ten pesukim of Malchios, ten of Zichronos, and ten of Shofros. The first three of each set should be from Torah, the next three from Kesuvim, the next three from Navi and the last one again from Torah. (ShA )
- In Musaf, say “Olaynu…” and “M’loch…”. The chazzan adds “Ochila…” and other piyutim all according to the custom of the place. (Rama )
