Siman 501 – Cutting wood

  1. It is best to prepare wicks for Yom Tov Shayni from before Yom Tov. If you did not, you can reuse last night’s wicks. Since there is an opinion that does not allow reusing the improved charred wicks – turn the wicks upside down and light their uncharred side. (MB 34)
