- A food could look kasher l’Pesach but is actually chometz. Such food should not be sold to a Jew before Pesach lest he comes to eat it on Pesach. You must directly inform the buyer that the merchandise is actually chometz. (ShA — MB )

- The last day of Pesach in the Diaspora is a Yom Tov d’rabbonon. Foods that we avoid during Pesach out of mere skeptical concern for chometz are allowed to be eaten on this day. (MB )
- If you want to drink water on Pesach from a reservoir that has not been guarded from chometz falling in all year round, it is proper to strain the water first through a clean cloth each time you draw the water.
