- Although women are obligated to bentch, there is a doubt if it is a mitzva d’oraisa for them or only a d’rabbonon. Because of this, some poskim hold that if she doesn’t know if she bentched or not, she should not bentch. However she may rely upon the poskim who say that she should bentch. (ShA1 – BeH “ella”)
