- Every person in a Reshus Horabbim has at least four amos (192 cm) in every direction in which he can move objects around. (ShA , )
- It is forbidden for one person to move an object less than four amos and then to pick it up and move it further less than four amos – even in a Karmelis. There is concern that he may carry the object more than four amos all at once. (ShA – MB )
