- You may borrow someone’s shofar without permission for all 100 sounds. (MB )
- All sounds emanating from the shofar are kasher even very deep or dry or cracked sounds. (ShA – MB )
- You may rinse the shofar with water or wine on Yom Tov. (ShA )
