# Siman 693 – Tefilla of Purim

וChelek 6

1. Kaddish Tiskabayl is recited after the Maariv Shemona Esray. After the Megilla reading we say “ve’ata kadosh....” (If it is Motzay Shabbos we precede it with Vihee Noam. Afterwards say Veyitayn Lecha like usual) (ShA  - MB )
2. We add Al Hanissim to Shemona Esray night and day on the day that you read the Megilla only. If you live in a place of doubt whether to read on the 14th or 15th, add Al Hanissim on both days. (ShA  - MB )
3. Wake up early for Shachris on Purim morning. (MB )
4. Do not remove your tefillin until after the Megilla reading. (MB )
5. Do not recite Hallel, nor tachanun, nor Lam’natzayach, nor Kayl Erech Apayim. (ShA )
6. Read the Torah from Vayavo Amalek........until ......modor dor. Then say Chatzi Kaddish and read the Megilla with the berachos before and after. Do not recite Kaddish immediately after the Megilla reading rather go straight to seder kedusha. (ShA  - MB )
