# Siman 687 – The obligation to read Megilla

וChelek 6

1. The obligation is to read the Megilla once at night and to review it again the next day. For the night time reading you have all night. And for the daytime reading you have from sunrise until the end of the day. (ShA )
2. If there is a bris mila on Purim - the custom is to do the bris first and then read the Megilla. (MB )
