# Siman 681 – Ner Chanuka on Motzoay Shabbos

וChelek 6

1. After using the flame for Havdalla, extinguish it and reuse it for another mitzva - the ner Chanuka. Once it is lit first for ner Chanuka, you may not use it for Havdalla. (ShA  - MB )

1. Do not veer from the minhag in shul to light ner Chanuka before saying Havdalla. If you forgot to add “...atta chonantonu…” in Shemoneh Esray, say "Hamavdil bain kodesh I'chol* before kindling the Chanuka lamps. (ShA  - MB , )
