# Siman 593 – The Musaf and the Tekios are independent of one another

וChelek 6

1. You should cover the shofar while you say the beracha before blowing it. (BaH 3)
2. If you do not know how to say all Malchios, Zichronos, and Shofros, do not daaven Musaf at all. (ShA  - MB )
3. If you ever skip even one beracha of Shemoneh Esray, you must repeat it all in order. (MB )
4. If you know how to blow only one or two of the three opinions of the mitzva of Tekias Shofar, blow the one or two you know without a beracha. They are TShR”T, TSh”T, and TR”T. (ShA  - BeH “v’im”)
5. The berachos of Musaf and the Tekios are two independent mitzvos. Therefore you can be yotzay performing one without the other, or either one before the other. (Rama )
