# Siman 532 – Clipping nails

וChelek 6

1. Our custom is to refrain from clipping fingernails and toenails on Chol Hamoed if you did not clip them on erev Yom Tov. (Rama  - MB )

1. You can be lenient to clip your nails on erev Shabbos Chol Hamoed if you regularly cut them on erev Shabbos. (BaH 1)

1. You are allowed to bite your nails and pick them off on Chol Hamoed. (MB )

1. A woman is allowed to clip her nails in preparation for the mikvah. (Rama )

1. Melacha is permitted for refuah - even for the mildly sick. (ShA  - MB ) #
