# Siman 22 – Shehecheyanu for tsitsis

אChelek 1

1. When you buy a tallis that does not have tsitsis on it, wait to say a Shehecheyanu until you tie the tsitsis on - if not, you can say the beracha when you first put it on. In such a case, you will first say “l’hisatayf”, and afterward “shehecheyanu”. (ShA  - MB )

1. When buying new clothes that are fit to wear immediately say the shehecheyanu when you acquire them - If they are not fit to wear immediately, wait until first wearing them. (MB )
