# Siman 13 – Tsitsis on Shabbos

אChelek 1

1. To be allowed to wear your tsitsis into the reshus harabbim on Shabbos, all four corners must be kasher. (ShA )

1. Since you inspect your tsitsis before putting them on, you do not have to inspect them again before entering the reshus harabbim. (ShA  - MB )

1. Proper conduct would be to inspect the tsitsis that you’ll be wearing on Shabbos when you put them away before Shabbos. (BeH “kodem”)

1. If you realized, on Shabbos, that your tsitsis are possul, and you are embarrassed to either take them off or sit around without them on - you can wear the tsitsis without a beracha because of kovod habrios. Just stay away from the reshus harabbim. (Rama )
