# Siman 103 – Passing wind during Tefilla

אChelek 1

1. If one passes gas in the middle of Shemoneh Esray he should wait for any odor to dissipate before continuing to daaven. (ShA )
2. There is no prohibition to hold in gas. (MB )
3. One should try his hardest not to allow gas to pass during tefilla. If he cannot control it - at least move the tefillin off of their places first. (MB )
4. If gas passes – think how embarrassed you are to have such a body.   (MB )
